How do I add a product to my product list?

YAMPOS allows you to manage your inventory and stock levels for easy ordering, tracking, and selling.

Below you’ll find all the information you need to add products to your inventory and categories and brands to link your products to.#

Add products

To start adding products to your inventory:

  1. Go to Products
  2. Click Create + to add a new product and fill in the information outlined below:
  3. Add a product name and barcode.
  4. Choose a supplier or create a new one.
  5. Add a description to provide your clients with more information about the product.
  6. Choose a category for your product or create a new one.
  7. Add photos of your products. 
  8. Decide whether you’d like to enable Retail sales, Add a Retail price and % Markup. Your Tax will be set to default but can be updated by clicking Edit.

Once you're happy with the information you've included, click Save to add the product to your inventory.

PRO TIP: It’s a good idea to complete regular stocktakes for your products to maintain accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies. Click here for more information.

Add categories

To add a category associated with your products:

  1. Go to Product list, click + , 
  2. Click Add + and enter the Category name, assign location, and staff position. Click to allow show in app. 
  3. Save changes.

This will now appear in your list of categories and can now be selected when adding new products.
