Whether you’re getting started or growing your team, we’ll walk you through how quickly you can add a new team member before assigning them to appointments.

Team members overview

As your business grows, you might want to add team members to take on more appointments. YAMPOS allows you to fully integrate your team members into the platform, helping you keep track of and manage their activity.

Add team members, assign them to services, and enable them to be booked through your calendar and online by clients. Non-service providers, such as receptionists and admin staff, can also be added as team members.

Getting started

Before you get started, we recommend that you set up your locations, services, and permission levels so that they can be assigned to the team members. Doing this helps create a cohesive workflow and simple booking navigation for both you and your clients.

How to add a team member

  1. Go to Staff list.
  2. Click on Add new
  3. Fill out your team member’s profile using the side panel menu before clicking Save:

Enter the team member’s name, mobile number, email address, and profile picture. The email address will need to be added if you want the team member to receive notifications and have individual login access. Only the first name and locations are needed to save a team member. Add their schedule.

Access rights 
You can set their permissions based on the level of access you’d like them to have. Once your user permissions have been set, you’ll want to define what each of the permission levels gives them access to.

Set a commission

Commissions are paid on top of a team member's salary as a percentage of the revenue generated from the services they provide and the products they sell. Calculating team commissions by hand can get complicated, so setting these in advance can save you time when working out their additional pay at the end of the month.


You can leave any comments for certain clients, for example, notes that you want to keep for the next visit. 


  • Can I assign a team member to more than one location?
    Team members can be assigned across multiple locations. You can choose to assign them to selected locations or all locations through their team member profile.
  • Can I adjust the team member’s permission after they have been set?
    You can update your team member’s details, including their permission levels, at any time. For this, select the Team member, update their profile, and click Save.
